Non-Profits Run Amok...

There is an inherent contradiction with respect to GLAAD’s dogged pursuit of transgender “rights.”

Big Pharma’s answer to children who express concerns about gender dysphoria is a lifetime of puberty blocking and cross-sex hormones that may have serious medical ramifications, such as infertility and brittle bones. If the children were left alone, the Wall Street Journal reports that 80% would grow up to be gay. The GLAAD agenda is a form of conversion therapy, something gays and lesbians have fought against for years.

Backlash

Recent advocacy by GLAAD and Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ political lobbying organization in the U.S., have stirred up complaints within the lesbian and gay community and beyond.

Gays and lesbians formed a national non-profit group based in Wisconsin in 2022 to protect children called, Gays Against Groomers. The organization says on its website that it is “fighting back from inside the community against the sexualization, indoctrination and medicalization of children happening under the guise of ‘LGBTQIA+’.” The group opposes gender-affirming care for minors.

Meanwhile, there was international outcry last week about males participating in the female boxing division at the Olympics. Two boxers who were previously identified as male were permitted by the International Olympics Committee to batter female opponents. And both males won Gold Medals!

And 26 states have rejected or blocked the Biden administration’s revision of Title IX, which redefines “on the basis of sex” to include gender identity. Parents are complaining to school boards about males in female restrooms and books containing graphic gay sex on elementary school library shelves. Trans story time at public libraries have also come under fire.

“Those in mainstream media who endorse the trans agenda fail to represent the interests and concerns of gay people” - Gays Against Groomers.

Why have GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign pursue this disastrous course of action?
